Join us in the Spectator boardroom on Tuesday 11 October for one of our Winemaker Lunches with Michiel Eradus of the boutique New Zealand winery Eradus Wines.
Founded in the Awatere river valley in Marlborough in 2002 by Dutch émigrés Har and Sophie Eradus, Eradus Wines is now run by the couple’s ebullient son Michiel, winner of countless awards and plaudits for his pure and expressive yet modestly priced wines.
Over a four-course cold lunch provided by Forman & Field, Michiel will introduce and discuss five of his wines: the 2015 Sauvignon Blanc, the 2014 Pinot Gris, the 2014 Merlot Rosé, the 2014 Pinot Noir and the 2014 ‘Sticky Micky’ Late Harvest Sauvignon Blanc.
We in the UK remain in the grip of a love affair with New Zealand wines. Join us for lunch and see why.
