The Spectator Spring Wine School is an eight-week course for beginners and wine enthusiasts who’d like to learn more.

The Spectator wine courses are a unique opportunity to learn about wine with each of The Spectator’s Wine Club partners. Each merchant will give one class on their specialist region.

Course description

The Spring Wine School course will last eight weeks and the maximum capacity of each class will be 25 people, ensuring individual attention. The final session will be a champagne tasting hosted by Pol Roger Champagne.

The Spring Wine School is for beginners and wine enthusiasts who’d like to learn more. The first class covers the basics from how to taste wine to the importance of terroir. The next six classes cover a different wine region, and the final class is all about Pol Roger Champagne.

Students will have the opportunity to taste wine with Jonathan Ray, as well as receiving a certificate from one of our editors at the end-of-course Pol Roger Party.

Date and time

Each class will take place on a Tuesday from 6.30 p.m. to 8.30 p.m. at M Victoria Street. The first class will be on Tuesday 1 March 2016.

Cancellation policy: If you wish to cancel up to a week before the course start date, 50% will be charged. If you cancel within a week of the course start date 100% will be charged.
