Description:
Join us in the Spectator boardroom for the next in this year’s series of SpectatorWinemaker’s lunches with Francois Lurton, the fifth generation of his celebrated family to make wine.
The many Lurton siblings and cousins own estates throughout Bordeaux including the likes of Ch. Climens, Ch. Durfort-Vivens and Ch. Brane-Cantenac, and Francois himself produces wines in France, Spain, Chile and Argentina.
Something of a visionary, Francois is a vocal proponent of sustainable agriculture and organic and biodynamic winemaking and, over a delicious four-course cold lunch provided by Forman & Field, he will introduce and discuss a selection of wines from across his estates.
Francois’s wines are as fascinating and engaging as he is himself and this promises to be a fine occasion.
