Description:
SOLD OUT. The American people have voted. What next for the US and the rest of the world?
Donald Trump won the race to the White House and perhaps pulled off the most extraordinary election victory in US history. The electorate favoured Trump’s stance on immigration, infrastructure, employment and crime.
Trump has insisted that post-Brexit Britain will be at the front of the queue for a trade deal with the US. After Obama, could UK-US relations flourish once again? Or will the new president be bad for Britain, Europe and Nato? Andrew Neil and a guest panel discussed what’s next for America’s future and the rest of the world.
Tickets included a drinks reception at 7 p.m. followed by a discussion at 7.30 p.m.
This event was sold out.
