SOLD OUT. The Spectator's business editor, Martin Vander Weyer, and our drinks editor, Jonathan Ray, hosted a three-course, wine-laden Christmas lunch courtesy of Forman & Field.

Martin chatted about the business concerns of the day, highlighting what to look out for in 2017 – especially in the light of Brexit – and discussed his book Any Other Business: Life in and Out of the City at the Christmas Wine Club Lunch.

Having recently revised and updated the late Simon Hoggart’s classic volume, Life’s Too Short to Drink Bad wine, Jonathan presented wines he has featured in the book including Charles Heidsieck Brut Réserve NV, 2015 Hamilton Russell Chardonnay, 2015 Alain Graillot Crozes-Hermitage Blanc, 2013 Tapanappa ‘Foggy Hill’ Pinot Noir, 2012 Seresin Estate ‘Leah’ Pinot Noir and 2014 Andrew Quady ‘Elysium’ Black Muscat dessert wine.
