Description:
Join us in the Spectator boardroom on Friday 12 January 2018 for the next in our series of Spectator Winemaker Lunches with Warren Gibson, chief winemaker at Trinity Hill, one of New Zealand’s finest wineries, famed for its exceptional Hawkes Bay and Gimblett Gravels wines.
Warren studied winemaking at Roseworthy in South Australia before starting his career at Morton Estate in the Bay of Plenty. He subsequently travelled the world making wine in Australia, California, Italy, Hungary and France before settling at Trinity Hill where he was soon named New Zealand Winemaker of the Year.
During a four course cold lunch provided by Forman & Field, Warren will chat about New Zealand wines in general and Trinity Hill wines in particular whilst presenting a wide selection of his range which is likely to include such wines as the 2016 Trinity Hill Gimblett Gravels Chardonnay, the 2016 Trinity Hill Gimblett Gravels Marsanne/Viognier, the 2016 Trinity Hill Hawkes Bay Sauvignon Blanc, the 2016 Trinity Hill Hawkes Bay Pinot Noir, the 2014 Trinity Hill Gimblett Gravels Syrah and the celebrated 2015 Trinity Hill ‘Homage’ Syrah.
This promises to be a hugely popular lunch, so do book promptly.
