The Spectator & Boisdale are delighted to invite you to a Santa Rita Grand Cru Wines of Chile Lunch, hosted at Boisdale Canary Wharf by Spectator drinks editor Jonathan Ray, Terry Pennington of Viña Santa Rita and Boisdale founder Ranald Macdonald with guest of honour His Excellency Mr Diego Paulsen, Ambassador of Chile to the UK.

Held in celebration of Viña Santa Rita being named the #1 Winery in the World by Forbes Magazine, this wonderful occasion offers a rare opportunity to explore Viña Santa Rita’s most illustrious wines, from their multi-award-winning Medalla Real Gran Reservas to some of the greatest wines produced in South America today.

As with previous Spectator/Boisdale collaborations, you can expect excellent company with entertaining speeches along with an engaging, tutored tasting over a fine four-course lunch with a menu inspired by the flavours, scents, and culinary heritage of Chile.

The luncheon will showcase the remarkable diversity of Chilean wine, from cool-climate Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Sauvignon Blanc to the country’s distinctive Carménère and the celebrated Casa Real Cabernet Sauvignon, arguably the greatest wine produced in Chile today.

This is the inaugural event for what will become an annual gala date in the diary. Spaces are limited and early booking is advised.
